Prior to joining Guardian, director in leveraged finance at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in both New York and London, where he specialized in leveraged loans and high yield notes across a variety of sectors including packaging, telecom, media, technology, consumer and services.   He was an engineer before beginning his financial services career.
